A transformação digital tem revolucionado a educação, alterando metodologias, espaços e formas de interação pedagógica. A pandemia da COVID-19 acelerou a adoção de tecnologias, revelando tanto seu potencial para ampliar o acesso ao conhecimento quanto as desigualdades estruturais, como a falta de infraestrutura e formação docente adequada. A eficácia das tecnologias educacionais depende da mediação crítica do professor, que deve ser mais que um operador de ferramentas digitais. A formação docente contínua e reflexiva é fundamental para integrar tecnologias de modo pedagógico e inclusivo. Plataformas digitais, inteligência artificial, realidade aumentada e gamificação podem personalizar a aprendizagem, estimular o pensamento crítico e engajar estudantes, desde que utilizadas com propósito e respaldo pedagógico. Desafios éticos, como privacidade e impacto socioemocional, também exigem atenção. Estudos internacionais e nacionais indicam que políticas públicas, infraestrutura adequada e capacitação docente são pilares para o sucesso da integração tecnológica. Assim, a tecnologia deve ser instrumento para uma educação mais humana, equitativa e crítica, destacando o papel central do professor como mediador desse processo transformador.
Abstract
Digital transformation has revolutionized education, changing methodologies, spaces, and forms of pedagogical interaction. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of technologies, revealing both their potential to expand access to knowledge and structural inequalities, such as lack of infrastructure and adequate teacher training. The effectiveness of educational technologies depends on the critical mediation of the teacher, who must be more than just an operator of digital tools. Continuous and reflective teacher training is fundamental to integrating technologies in a pedagogical and inclusive manner. Digital platforms, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and gamification can personalize learning, stimulate critical thinking, and engage students—provided they are used with purpose and pedagogical support. Ethical challenges, such as privacy and socio-emotional impact, also require attention. International and national studies indicate that public policies, adequate infrastructure, and teacher training are pillars for successful technological integration. Thus, technology should be an instrument for a more humane, equitable, and critical education, highlighting the central role of the teacher as mediator of this transformative process.
