Reumo
A pesquisa acadêmica deve gerar novos conhecimentos através da epistemologia de um fenômeno, assim, este artigo propõe uma análise do tema de seguro de vida ao redor do mundo dada a sua importância na formação de poupança para as famílias. A pesquisa avança ao optarmos em uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, onde a pesquisa com dados secundários ganha robustez e optamos pela base da Scopus para capturarmos estudos primários. Nossa base é composta por artigos publicados entre os anos de 2018 e 2022, cujo objetivo é analisar as motivações dos pesquisadores antes, durante e depois da pandemia da COVID-19. Este estudo englobou 1.010 artigos, apresentando a evolução em quantidade de artigos e quais são os países com maior demanda por este tema, além de apresentar se o período de isolamento social fortaleceu a busca deste conhecimento. Os resultados desta pesquisa apontam que os países mais populosos e mais ricos são os que mais realizaram pesquisas sobre o tema de seguro de vida, sendo que a América Latina é o continente com menor quantidade de estudos.
Abstract
Academic research must generate new knowledge through the epistemology of a phenomenon, therefore, this article proposes an analysis of the topic of life insurance around the world given its importance in creating savings for families. The research advances by opting for a Systematic Literature Review, where research with secondary data gains robustness and we opt for the Scopus base to capture primary studies. Our database is made up of articles published between 2018 and 2022, whose objective is to analyze the motivations of researchers before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study encompassed 1,010 articles, presenting the evolution in number of articles and which countries have the greatest demand for this topic, in addition to showing whether the period of social isolation strengthened the search for this knowledge. The results of this research indicate that the most populous and richest countries are those that have carried out the most research on the subject of life insurance, with Latin America being the continent with the least amount of studies.
