Reumo
Esta pesquisa teve como principal objetivo descrever a representação de “maternidade” e “paternidade” dos trabalhadores (as) do segmento de Petróleo e Gás. Da mesma forma, buscou-se comparar a legislação brasileira relacionada a maternidade e paternidade com a de outros países do mundo e por último analisar a participação da mulheres no mercado de trabalho de Macaé. Para alcançar estes objetivos, o estudo foi desenhado com uma metodologia do tipo exploratória, descritiva e explicativa. Foi aplicado um questionário de modo online, por meio da plataforma SurveyMonkey, destinado a homens e mulheres que trabalham no mercado de petróleo e gás. Também foi realizado uma análise documental além da pesquisa bibliográfica. Foi utilizada a técnica de evocação livre para descrever a representação do que é paternidade e maternidade para esses trabalhadores(as). Nesse contexto a pesquisa revela resultados interessantes que trazem à tona a reflexão sobre a percepção de maternidade e paternidade e o entendimento sobre o que é de fato uma equidade de gênero em um contexto de oportunidades
Abstract
The main objective of this research was to describe the representation of “motherhood” and “fatherhood” of workers in the Oil and Gas segment. Likewise, we sought to compare Brazilian legislation related to maternity and paternity with that of other countries. in the world and finally analyze the participation of women in the labor market in Macaé. To achieve these objectives, the study was designed with an exploratory, descriptive and explanatory methodology. A questionnaire was administered online, through the SurveyMonkey platform, aimed at men and women who work in the oil and gas market. A documentary analysis was also carried out in addition to the bibliographical research. The free evocation technique was used to describe the representation of what fatherhood and motherhood are for these workers. In this context, the research reveals interesting results that bring to light the reflection on the perception of motherhood and fatherhood and the understanding of what gender equality actually is in a context of opportunities and inclusion.
