Reumo
Abstract
The research explored the ASG concept, its importance on public sector, the ABNT PR 2023 standard and the incorporation of sustainable practices in the Legislative. A profusion of evaluation seeks to create a standard to measure ASG criteria, culminating in the ABNT PR 2030 standard. The main objective is to assess the maturity of the Environmental axis of Environmental, Social and Governance (ASG) conduct for legislative powers. The methodology involved adapted the ABNT PR 20230 standard to maturity analysis, with emphasis on the environmental axis, and the its application to the Legislative Assembly of the State of Ceará (Alece) case. The results point sustainable practices already adopted by Alece, and areas that require improvements. Studies include more analyzes of legislative powers, with the aim of extending the assessment to social and governance axes. It is also suggested that it be applied to other legislative powers. The research also provides a solid basis to advance the incorporation of ESG practices in legislative institutions, contributing to sustainable development and providing a model for similar entities.
