Reumo
O trabalho aborda a ação inovadora realizada pelo Departamento Penitenciário Nacional (Depen). Teve como objetivo analisar essas ações realizadas pelo Depen, no contexto da pandemia, voltadas para os princípios de governança pública e as redes de compartilhamento criadas por essa instituição. A iniciativa surgiu a partir da necessidade de buscar mecanismos eficazes diante do contexto de emergência de saúde pública. O método escolhido nesse relato técnico é o qualitativo e foi realizada análise documental. O resultado principal encontrado destaca-se pelo fortalecimento da rede de informações institucionais para o controle da pandemia e a transparência das ações realizadas pelo Depen. Neste sentido, realizou-se ações conjuntas com outros órgãos, visando ações preventivas e protocolos de atuação no enfrentamento da Covid-19 no sistema penitenciário brasileiro.
Abstract
This paper talk about the innovative action carried out by the National Penitentiary Department (Depen). The study aimed to analyze these actions carried out by Depen, in the context of the pandemic, aimed at the principles of public governance and the sharing networks created by this institution. The initiative emerged from the need to seek effective mechanisms in the context of public health emergencies. The method chosen in this technical report is qualitative and a document analysis was performed. The main result found stands out for the strengthening of the institutional information network for the control of the pandemic and the transparency of the actions carried out by Depen. In this sense, joint actions were carried out with other bodies, aiming at preventive actions and protocols of action in the face of Covid-19 in the Brazilian penitentiary system.
