Os Sistemas de Informação de Gerenciamento de Projetos (SIGP) tem sido uma escolha recorrente dos gestores na busca pela projetização de suas organizações. Partindo do pressuposto de que sob o ponto de vista teórico o uso de um SI pode permitir o acompanhamento e controle de todas as etapas do ciclo de vida dos projetos, assim como o andamento do portfólio de projeto, a implementação e uso desses sistemas se mostra um pouco mais complexa quando demonstrada na prática. Dessa forma, o propósito deste estudo foi investigar e identificar na literatura a perspectiva dos autores sobre o uso de SIGPs, qual o impacto desses sistemas e quais aspectos podem promover a efetividade de um SIGP bem como as barreiras encontradas durante sua implementação. Para isto foi realizado um mapeamento sistemático da literatura, que selecionou os trabalhos com base em critérios definidos e consolidados em estudos dessa natureza. O estudo demonstrou que os SIGP podem contribuir efetivamente para o gerenciamento de projetos se bem alinhados aos requisitos necessários e bem adaptados realidade organizacional no qual serão inseridos.
Abstract
Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) have been a recurring choice for managers seeking to projectize their organizations. Based on the premise that from a theoretical point of view, the use of an IS can allow for the monitoring and control of all stages of the project life cycle, as well as the progress of the project portfolio, the implementation and use of these systems prove to be somewhat more complex when demonstrated in practice. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate and identify in the literature the authors' perspective on the use of PMIS, the impact of these systems, and which aspects can promote the effectiveness of a PMIS, as well as the barriers encountered during its implementation. For this, a systematic literature mapping was conducted, selecting works based on defined and consolidated criteria in studies of this nature. The study demonstrated that PMIS can effectively contribute to project management if well aligned with the necessary requirements and well adapted to the organizational reality in which they will be implemented.
