O objetivo deste relato técnico é descrever detalhadamente o que ocorreu na prática com um serviço que teve seu lançamento na década de 1990, alcançou seu ápice nos anos 2010 e, com o advento da pandemia em 2020, sofreu uma grande queda, sendo necessário seu reposicionamento. A análise seguirá os conceitos da Matriz BCG, criada em 1970 por Bruce Henderson, fundador da consultoria Boston Consulting Group, daí a nomenclatura Matriz BCG. O relato apresenta os fundamentos da matriz, a análise das diferenças do serviço ao longo do tempo e como cada versão foi classificada na matriz
Abstract
The aim of this technical report is to describe in detail what happened in practice with a service that was launched in the 1990s, reached its peak in the 2010s and, with the advent of the pandemic in 2020, suffered a major decline, requiring it to be repositioned. The analysis will follow the concepts of the BCG Matrix, created in 1970 by Bruce Henderson, founder of the Boston Consulting Group, hence the name BCG Matrix. The report presents the fundamentals of the matrix, an analysis of the differences in service over time and how each version has been classified in the matrix.
