Reumo
O alto número de ações judiciais em andamento, atualmente existentes no Brasil, e, em particular, no Estado de São Paulo, motivou a realização desta pesquisa, que tem como objetivo principal, identificar se o nível de formação acadêmica, especializações e tempo de atuação do perito judicial influenciam o número de nomeações em trabalhos periciais, por parte de juízes paulistas. Trata-se de uma pesquisa aplicada, de caráter exploratório, baseada no método indutivo de análise, com uma abordagem quali-quantitativa. A análise de dados foi elaborada a partir da aplicação de um modelo estatístico de regressão logística com resposta binária. O modelo estatístico elaborado nesta pesquisa demonstra que o nível de formação acadêmica, especializações e tempo de atuação dos peritos influenciam o número de nomeações em trabalhos periciais por parte de juízes. A principal contribuição do artigo é o delineamento do perfil ideal de um perito, com base no modelo aplicado, a partir da avaliação do nível técnico e intelectual da profissão.
Abstract
The high number of lawsuits in progress, currently existing in Brazil, and in particular in the State of São Paulo, motivated this research, whose main objective is to identify whether the level of academic training, specializations and time performance of the judicial expert influence the number of appointments in expert work by judges from São Paulo.This is an applied, exploratory research, based on the inductive method of analysis, following a qualitative and quantitative approach. The data analysis was elaborated from the application of a statistical model of logistic regression with binary response.The statistical model developed in this research demonstrates that the level of academic training, specializations and length of experience of the experts influence the number of appointments in expert work by judges.The main contribution of the article is to outline the ideal profile of an expert, based on the applied model, based on the assessment of the technical and intellectual level of the profession.
